MEET KATIE
Not your typical wellness speaker.
And refreshingly not preachy.
Katie doesn't tell audiences what to do — they already know. As a Habit Change Expert, she blends neuroscience, health psychology and lived experience to teach the part everyone skips: why change feels hard, and how to finally make habit shifts that last in real life.
She's spoken at the White House and for organizations across North America — known for honesty, humour, vulnerability and practical tools that leave people saying, "Wow… this finally makes sense."

THE LONGER STORY
Not your typical wellness speaker.
And refreshingly not preachy.
For two decades I worked inside the system most people only see from the outside — corporate public health programs, workplace wellness strategy, mental-health policy at the senior advisory level. I watched smart, motivated people receive the right information, nod along, and then keep doing the thing they swore they'd change.
That gap — between knowing and doing — is the only thing I work on now.
I went back for a Master's in Health Psychology to understand it, trained as a neuroscience and mental fitness coach to act on it, and built a speaking practice around what I learned: habits change when the brain stops fighting the change. Not when we try harder. Not when we hate ourselves more. When we work with the wiring, not against it.
I've taken that work to the White House, to packed conference halls across North America, into the leadership offsites of organizations like KPMG, EY, EllisDon, Minto, PSAC, and FMI. I've also taken it into 1:1 coaching rooms with executives quietly rebuilding themselves after burnout.
The thing I love most is when someone messages me a week later — not to say "thanks for the talk," but to say "I actually did the thing." That's the whole job.
